Rosedale at Griesbach

Rosedale at Griesbach is located on 4480 McCrae Avenue (11250 – 152 Avenue - see map). It consists of two man made lakes, numerous parks and extensive walkways.

Rosedale at Griesbach opened in May of 2006 and is comprised of 227 suites. It is conveniently located across the street from a shopping complex which includes an IGA and YMCA. The new building offers many of the same features as the other Rosedale communities including a common area, dining room, chapel, health areas, an enclosed courtyard and underground parking. Rosedale at Griesbach offers many of the same services as the other Rosedale communities which will allow our residents to age in place.

Winner of 2009 Mayor's Award for
Universal Design in Architecture

The City of Edmonton Advisory Board on Services for Persons with Disabilities recognized Rosedale's Griesbach residence for the 2008 renovation which includes a new wing featuring adaptable and accessible suites. Features include colour contrast on floors, roll-in showers, adaptable kitchens which can be modified to suit users' needs, and the use of natural lighting in common areas. All encourage the independence of each resident.
